- Information you enter in the rebate finder. Your ZIP code and the answers you give about your home or business (such as property type, ownership, heating fuel, and income range) so we can match you to programs. Income is collected only as an eligibility range — we do not ask for, or store, an exact income figure.
- Contact details you choose to share. If you ask us to connect you with a contractor, or you use a contact or subscribe form, we collect the name, email, phone, and any message you provide.
- Automatic technical data. Like most websites, our servers and analytics tools record standard information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring site, using cookies and similar technologies.
How we use your information
- To find and rank the rebate and incentive programs that fit your situation.
- To connect you with an approved contractor only when you request an introduction.
- To respond to messages you send us.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website, and to understand how it is used.
When we share information
- With contractors — only at your request. When you ask for an introduction, we share the project details you provided and, for income-qualified programs, whether your household falls within the eligibility range. We never share an exact income figure or your financial details.
- With service providers. We use trusted vendors (for example, hosting, email delivery, and analytics) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- For legal reasons. If required by law, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
- We do not sell your personal information.
