Fee and Lead Schedule
Published by Synkompass Media LLC, which owns and operates GetEnergyRebates.com. Version 1.2. Effective November 1, 2026.
This Schedule is incorporated into the Contractor Network Standards by reference, and section 9 of those Standards sets the rules this document operates under. Three of them decide most questions. No fee arises until you claim a lead. The price of a particular lead is shown to you before you claim it. And a change to this Schedule applies going forward only, never to a lead you have already claimed.
What a lead costs
Residential leads run $75 to $150, and where a particular residential lead sits in that range depends on the mix of programs in it, which is to say on what the consumer is actually looking at doing.
Commercial is the same rule at its own price points: $150, $250 or $500, with $150 the default. A commercial lead is $250 where it covers weatherization work, meaning insulation, air sealing, attic and envelope work, or home performance programs. It is $500 where it covers heat pumps, HVAC, clean heat, solar, boilers or furnaces. Those two category tests are the only thing that moves a commercial lead off $150.
Every amount above is a price that gets charged as printed, and the one that applies to a particular lead is the figure on screen when you claim it. Section 9 of the Standards requires a lead’s price to be shown to you before you claim it, so you never have to work out from this page what a particular lead will cost.
Credit for a lead that did not work out
Section 9 of the Contractor Network Standards sets out when a credit is due, what counts as unreachable, and the seven-day window for asking. What the credit is worth: one claim credit, added to your record and spent on your next claim the same way the no-charge credits below are spent. One credit claims one lead of any price, so it is worth more than you paid on a larger lead and less on a smaller one.
Leads offered at no charge
Leads are offered at no charge to early members while the Network is being built, under a promotion with an end condition, and the condition is this: your record carries a set number of credits, you are told that number when you are accepted, each claim spends one credit, and the promotion is over for you when the balance reaches zero. After that the prices above apply.
This is a promotion and not a term of membership. It is not an entitlement, no particular number of free leads is promised to anyone, and the arrangement may be changed or withdrawn by amendment under section 17 of the Standards.
How a charge happens
You see a lead’s price before you claim it. Payment is taken at the moment you claim, and the consumer’s contact details are released to you on that claim. Where your record carries credits, a claim spends a credit instead of taking payment. Nothing is charged for a lead you are offered and do not take.
Changes to this Schedule
A change to a price, a credit, a promotion or a payment term produces a new version identifier and a new effective date on this document, and it applies going forward only. A material change is sent to your registered notice email before it takes effect, under section 17 of the Standards. A lead you have already claimed is priced by the Schedule that was in force when you claimed it.
